King's College London GKT School of Medical Education, commonly known as GKT, is the prestigious medical school of King's College London, named after its three historical campuses: Guy's Hospital, King's College Hospital, and St Thomas' Hospital.

Established in its current form on August 1, 1998, following a merger with the United Medical and Dental Schools of Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals, GKT consistently ranks among the top institutions globally, achieving 5th in the UK and 10th worldwide for clinical medicine in 2023. It is a highly sought-after school, welcoming approximately 400 students annually to its standard MBBS programme and famously receiving more applications for medicine than any other UK medical school.

Tracing its roots through hospitals established as early as 1106, GKT also holds the unique distinction of being home to the world's oldest hospital gazette, which began publication in 1872 as the Guy's Hospital Gazette.
