Al-Ettifaq Club Stadium

  • Opened in 1983 as Abdullah Al-Dabal Stadium, this Dammam venue was originally a modest 7,500-seat training ground for Al-Ettifaq and their youth teams, named after a former club president and FIFA Executive Committee member.
  • A major renovation announced in June 2021 removed the athletics track, added covered stands behind the goals, and boosted capacity to 15,000.
  • The stadium reopened as Al-Ettifaq Club Stadium on 13 September 2023, hosting its first league match on 4 November; Georginio Wijnaldum scored its first official goal against Al-Ittihad on 24 November.
  • On 31 October 2024, the naming rights were sold to the local delivery app EGO, officially renaming it EGO Stadium under a deal until 2026.
  • Located just a few streets from rivals Al-Qadsiah's Aramco Stadium, it now serves as a modern, football-specific home for Al-Ettifaq.
