DaQuan Jones

DaQuan Steven Jones (born December 27, 1991) is an American professional football defensive tackle who currently plays for the New England Patriots in the NFL. After a standout collegiate career at Penn State—where he lost 25 pounds before his senior season and was named the team's defensive MVP by ESPN.com—he was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He became a full-time starter for the Titans from 2015 to 2016, notched his first career sack in Week 17 of 2014, and even scored a touchdown on a fumble recovery in January 2017. Despite suffering a torn biceps in 2017, he signed a three-year contract extension in 2018 and finished his Titans tenure in 2020 with a career-high 49 tackles. He later had stints with the Carolina Panthers (2021) and the Buffalo Bills (2022–2024), where he signed a two-year extension in March 2024 after battling a pectoral injury—before continuing his career as a durable veteran run-stopper with the Patriots.
