The foundation also operates the Let Us Do Good Village in Land O'Lakes, Florida, a 100-home community built specifically for veterans, first responders, and their families. However, the charity has faced significant controversy for allegedly diverting funds meant for 9/11 first responder families to provide financial assistance to former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani. Despite these criticisms, the foundation continues its mission, also sponsoring events like the 2023 Hula Bowl to raise awareness and support for its cause.
