Jrue Holiday, born June 12, 1990, is a highly accomplished American professional basketball player renowned for his elite defense. After one season at UCLA, he was drafted 17th overall by the Philadelphia 76ers in 2009, later playing for the New Orleans Pelicans before achieving significant team success. Holiday has notably won two NBA championships: one with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2021 and a second with the Boston Celtics in 2024.

A two-time NBA All-Star and six-time NBA All-Defensive Team member, he is widely regarded as one of the best defensive guards in league history. Further cementing his impressive career, Holiday has also earned two Olympic gold medals with the U.S. national team in both 2020 and 2024. He was traded back to the Portland Trail Blazers in the 2025 offseason.
