Bronny James Jr. (born October 6, 2004) is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Los Angeles Lakers. The eldest son of NBA superstar LeBron James Sr., his early basketball highlights garnered national attention, and he was later recognized as a consensus four-star recruit and a McDonald's All-American in 2023. After playing one season of college basketball for the USC Trojans, James was selected by the Lakers in the second round of the 2024 NBA draft. This landmark selection made history, establishing Bronny and LeBron James Sr. as the first active father-son duo to play together in the NBA.
