Sony Entertainment Television (SET) is a prominent Indian Hindi-language pay television channel, launched on October 8, 1995, and owned by Sony Pictures Networks. Over the years, SET has been known for airing a diverse range of dramatic and reality shows, including early broadcasts of Disney Channel content until 2003, and long-running hits like CID and Crime Patrol. The channel also adapted international formats, famously launching Bigg Boss in 2006 and Fear Factor India, though these popular shows later moved to Colors TV.

SET expanded its reach internationally as Sony Entertainment Television Asia (SET Asia), dropping the "Asia" name in December 2016. Its visual identity has evolved with multiple logo changes, including significant updates to a green logo in 2001 and a purple one in November 2016. Alongside SET, Sony Pictures Networks operates other channels like Sony SAB, Sony Pal (launched 2014), and the international service Sony Kal (launched 2022).
