Laura Rutledge

Laura Rutledge (born October 2, 1988) is a prominent American sports reporter and host for ESPN and the SEC Network, best known for hosting flagship shows like NFL Live and SEC Nation. Before her media career, she was crowned Miss Florida 2012 and graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in broadcast journalism. In August 2025, she was named a full-time co-sideline reporter for Monday Night Football alongside Lisa Salters, though she decided to step away from SEC Nation in 2026 to balance her demanding NFL schedule. She is married to former MLB player Josh Rutledge, and the couple lives in a Connecticut log cabin, sharing a home with their daughter Reese—born on her own birthday in 2019—and son Jack, born in 2023. Her personal life also includes deep tragedy, as her younger brother Alex died in a cave diving accident in Florida in December 2017, with his body discovered weeks later wedged between rocks in Silver Glen Springs.
