Maria Bartiromo (born September 11, 1967) is an American conservative journalist and financial reporter who rose to fame as the "Money Honey" while at CNBC, where she made history in 1993 as the first television journalist to broadcast live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. After working as a producer at CNN and spending 20 years at CNBC—where she hosted Closing Bell and won two Emmy Awards—she moved to Fox Business and Fox News in January 2014.

During Donald Trump's first presidency, Bartiromo became a prominent advocate for the administration, regularly giving him unchallenging interviews. Her broadcasts promoted unproven conspiracy theories about the 2020 election, leading to her being named in a $2.7 billion defamation lawsuit by Smartmatic and in the Dominion Voting Systems case, which Fox News settled for $787.5 million while acknowledging the statements were false. Bartiromo grew up in Brooklyn to Italian-American parents, worked in her father's restaurant and a betting parlor, and graduated from NYU in 1989 before her decades-long career in financial media. She hosted programs like Mornings with Maria and Sunday Morning Futures until her firing in 2026.
