It was a transitional year, featuring new head coach Wilfried Nancy and the departure of long-time captain Jonathan Mensah and midfielder Artur—the first time since 2016 without them. Despite the roster overhaul, the Crew excelled, ultimately defeating Los Angeles FC in the MLS Cup final to secure their third league championship and their second since 2020.
