Kellen Moore (born July 5, 1988) is the newly appointed head coach of the New Orleans Saints, having transitioned from a standout playing career to a rapid rise in coaching. As a quarterback at Boise State, he set the FBS record for career wins and was named Quarterback of the Year twice (2010-2011), before spending most of his NFL playing days as a backup, notably with the Dallas Cowboys in 2015. After retiring, Moore served as offensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2024, where he helped the team win Super Bowl LIX. His football pedigree runs deep, as his father was a legendary high school coach in Washington, and his younger brother, Kirby, is the current head coach at Washington State. Moore's own high school career was prolific, setting state records for completions and touchdown passes while calling his own plays under his father's tutelage.
