Callum Wilson (born 27 February 1992) is an English striker who currently plays for Premier League side Brentford, having begun his career at his hometown club Coventry City. After a prolific 2013-14 season in which he scored 22 league goals, he moved to Bournemouth for £3 million in 2014, helping them win the Championship and reach the Premier League for the first time in club history, and later netting a hat-trick against West Ham in 2015 before suffering a serious ACL injury. He spent five years at Newcastle United starting in 2020, followed by a stint at West Ham, before joining his current club. Internationally, Wilson earned nine caps for England between 2018 and 2023, and was selected for the 2022 FIFA World Cup squad in Qatar. Known for his pace, athleticism, and clinical finishing, he has remained a reliable goal-scorer in England's top divisions despite battling injuries throughout his career.
