Jalen Brunson (born August 31, 1996), nicknamed "Captain Clutch" and the "King of New York," is an NBA star for the New York Knicks and the son of former NBA guard Rick Brunson. He starred at Villanova, winning two national championships and earning national player of the year honors before being drafted 33rd overall by the Dallas Mavericks in 2018. After four seasons in Dallas, he signed with the Knicks in 2022, quickly becoming a superstar with three All-Star selections (2024–2026) and setting NBA records for three-point shooting accuracy without a miss.
