Allen Iverson, nicknamed "the Answer", is a Hall of Fame basketball legend who defied his 6-foot stature to become one of the NBA's greatest scorers. A phenomenal dual-sport athlete at Bethel High School in Virginia, he earned AP Player of the Year honors in both football and basketball before starring at Georgetown University. Selected first overall by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 1996 NBA draft, Iverson won Rookie of the Year, four scoring titles, and the 2001 MVP award while leading his team to the NBA Finals. Over his 14-season career, he also played for the Nuggets, Pistons, and Grizzlies, finishing with Beşiktaş in Turkey in 2011. With a career scoring average of 26.7 points per game (7th all-time) and a playoff average of 29.7, he was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016 and named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021.
