Justin Fields, born March 5, 1999, is a prominent American professional football quarterback currently with the New York Jets, known for his dynamic dual-threat capabilities. He began his college career at Georgia before transferring to Ohio State, where he achieved significant success, earning Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year honors twice and leading the Buckeyes to the 2021 National Championship Game.
Drafted by the Chicago Bears in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, Fields quickly made his mark by setting an NFL single-game record for quarterback rushing yards and becoming only the third NFL quarterback ever to achieve a 1,000-yard rushing season. After three seasons with the Bears, he was traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2024, and subsequently signed with the New York Jets ahead of the 2025 season.
