Jordan Alexander Love (born November 2, 1998) is a prominent American professional football quarterback currently leading the Green Bay Packers in the NFL. After a notable college career at Utah State University, where he earned second-team All-MWC honors in 2018 and was named the MVP of the 2018 New Mexico Bowl, Love was selected by the Packers in the first round (26th pick) of the 2020 NFL Draft.
He initially served as a backup to legendary quarterback Aaron Rodgers for three seasons before being named Green Bay's starting signal-caller at the beginning of the 2023 NFL season. In his inaugural year as a starter, Love impressively guided the Packers to the playoffs, securing a significant victory over the Dallas Cowboys. Ahead of the 2024 NFL season, he signed a substantial four-year, $220 million contract extension. Love's early life was marked by personal tragedy, as his father died by suicide when Jordan was 14, an event that profoundly shaped his path.
