Jack Hinshelwood is an English professional footballer who plays for Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion and the England U21 national team. Joining Brighton's academy at age 7, he made his senior debut against Aston Villa in May 2023 and scored his first goal against Brentford in December 2023, later signing a contract extension until June 2028. On the international stage, he was a key player for England at the 2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship, starting every match including the final, where England defeated Germany 3–2 after extra time. Coming from a footballing dynasty—his great-grandfather, grandfather, father, and several other relatives all played professionally—Hinshelwood is described as a versatile, ball-playing central midfielder with strong tactical awareness. He was named Brighton's Young Player of the Year for the 2023–24 season.
