Álex Palou

Álex Palou Montalbo (born 1 April 1997) is a Spanish racing driver who dominates the IndyCar Series with Chip Ganassi Racing, securing the championships in 2021, 2023, 2024, and 2025 alongside his victory at the 2025 Indianapolis 500. He is the first Spaniard to win an American open national championship and the Indianapolis 500, and at just 28 years old, he became the youngest four-time champion in IndyCar history. Statistically brilliant, Palou ranks as the third-best driver in his first 55 races behind legends Mario Andretti and A. J. Foyt, tallying 8 wins, 20 podiums, and 37 top-tens. His early career included karting from 2003, a runner-up finish to George Russell in the CIK-FIA European Championship, and a strong 2014 Euroformula Open season before a GP3 win in Abu Dhabi in 2015. Palou also served as a reserve driver for the McLaren Formula One team in 2022-2023, making his F1 practice debut at the 2022 United States Grand Prix.
