Danielle Christine Fishel Karp (born May 5, 1981) is an American actress and director best known for playing Topanga Lawrence on the ABC sitcom Boy Meets World (1993–2000), a role she later reprised on its Disney Channel successor Girl Meets World (2014–2017). Discovered at age 10 in community theater, she made early guest appearances on shows like Full House (1992–1993) before landing her breakthrough role at just 12 years old. Following the original series, she appeared in films such as Longshot (2000) and the Dorm Daze series, and hosted the Style Network's The Dish (2008–2011). Transitioning behind the camera, she made her directorial debut in 2016 with Girl Meets World and has since directed episodes for series like Raven's Home and Sydney to the Max. Most recently, in 2025, she competed on season 34 of Dancing with the Stars, finishing in eighth place.
