Moses Josiah Moody (born May 31, 2002) is an American professional basketball player for the Golden State Warriors, making a significant impact by winning an NBA championship in his rookie season after being drafted 14th overall in the 2021 NBA draft.

Before joining the NBA, Moody was a standout player for the Arkansas Razorbacks in college (2020-21), where he was named SEC Freshman of the Year and First Team All-SEC, guiding his team to the Elite Eight of the NCAA tournament. His professional career quickly saw him contribute, debuting for the Warriors in October 2021 and achieving a career-high 30 points early in 2022.

Highlighting his value to the team, Moody signed a three-year, $39 million extension with the Warriors on October 20, 2024. He continued to play a significant role, starting 34 games during the 2024-25 season, though his playoff run in May 2025 was unfortunately curtailed by a thumb injury.
