Derrick Isaiah Joe, nicknamed "Strokin' Joe," is an American professional basketball player for the Oklahoma City Thunder, known for his sharpshooting ability. Born on July 2, 1999, he rose through the ranks from Fort Smith, Arkansas, where he was named Gatorade Arkansas Boys Basketball Player of the Year in high school. During his college career at the University of Arkansas, Joe made a significant impact, breaking the school record for single-season three-pointers with 113 and earning a spot on the SEC All-Freshman team.

Drafted 49th overall by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2020 NBA draft, Joe later signed with the Oklahoma City Thunder in October 2022, where he has truly excelled.
