Jaylen Marselles Brown, born October 24, 1996, is a prominent American professional basketball player for the Boston Celtics. After an impressive freshman year at the University of California, Berkeley, where he earned Pac-12 Freshman of the Year honors, Brown was selected by the Celtics as the third overall pick in the 2016 NBA draft. As a versatile shooting guard and small forward, he has become a four-time NBA All-Star, consistently leading Boston to deep playoff runs, including six Eastern Conference Finals appearances.
