Revis, an American post-grunge band, originated as "Orco" in Illinois in 1999, quickly gaining a local following before moving to Los Angeles and signing with Epic Records in the early 2000s. They released their debut album, Places for Breathing, on May 20, 2003, under their new name, Revis, which was chosen during recording. The album spawned the hit single "Caught in the Rain," peaking at No. 8 on the US Billboard Mainstream Rock chart and helping the album reach No. 115 on the Billboard Top 200.

Despite this success, the band disbanded in 2005 and, after a 2010 reformation, faced internal disputes and label issues that prevented the release of extensive new material, including an album titled Do We Have to Beg?, leading to a second breakup. However, Revis reformed again in 2024, releasing the EP Bottles of Lightning the same year. They are now set to release their second studio album, Killing Time, on November 7, 2025.
