DeAndre Jordan (born July 21, 1988) is a prominent American professional basketball player, currently with the New Orleans Pelicans, recognized for his powerful performance as a center. Drafted 35th overall by the Los Angeles Clippers in 2008, he spent ten seasons there, becoming their franchise leader in games played, rebounds, and blocks. After stints with several teams including the Dallas Mavericks, Brooklyn Nets, and Los Angeles Lakers, Jordan secured his first NBA championship with the Denver Nuggets in 2023. His impressive career includes three All-NBA selections, two NBA All-Defensive Team honors, twice leading the league in rebounding, and being named an NBA All-Star in 2017. Furthermore, Jordan holds the NBA record for highest career regular season (67.4%) and postseason (67.0%) field goal percentage and won a gold medal with Team USA at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
