Duncan Robinson, born April 22, 1994, is an American professional basketball player currently with the Detroit Pistons, notable for his unconventional journey from NCAA Division III to the NBA. He first led Williams College to the 2014 DIII championship game before transferring to Michigan, where he was part of the 2018 NCAA Division I runner-up team and earned the 2018 Big Ten Sixth Man of the Year award.
Despite going undrafted in the 2018 NBA draft, Robinson signed with the Miami Heat and quickly became a prolific three-point shooter, setting numerous team records. He played a crucial role in the Heat reaching the NBA Finals in both 2020 and 2023. Robinson's remarkable path makes him the only player from Williams College to ever compete in the NBA.
