Tari Jordan Eason, born May 10, 2001, is an American professional basketball player currently a forward for the Houston Rockets in the NBA. He had a standout high school career, leading Garfield High School to a 3A state title as a senior and earning tournament MVP. Eason then played college basketball, initially for the Cincinnati Bearcats before transferring to LSU, where he was named First Team All-SEC and SEC Sixth Man of the Year as a sophomore.
In March 2022, Eason declared for the NBA draft and was selected 17th overall by the Houston Rockets. He quickly made an impact, earning a spot on the All-NBA Summer League First Team. During his rookie NBA season, he recorded a career-high 20 points and 13 rebounds on February 1, 2023, showcasing his potential as a dynamic player.
