Shaquille Rashaun O'Neal, born March 6, 1972, is an American former professional basketball player renowned as one of the greatest centers of all time. Standing 7-foot-1, he was the first overall pick in the 1992 NBA draft by the Orlando Magic, earning Rookie of the Year honors.
