Shaquille Rashaun O'Neal, born March 6, 1972, is an American former professional basketball player renowned as one of the greatest centers of all time. Standing 7-foot-1, he was the first overall pick in the 1992 NBA draft by the Orlando Magic, earning Rookie of the Year honors. O'Neal achieved significant success with the Los Angeles Lakers, leading them to three consecutive NBA championships from 2000 to 2002, and later secured his fourth title with the Miami Heat in 2006.
