Al Hilal's 2023-24 season was a historic one, marking the club's 48th consecutive year in Saudi Arabia's top flight. Competing across five competitions, they shattered records, first breaking the Saudi Pro League consecutive wins record with a 14th straight league victory on February 26, 2024 against Al-Ettifaq. Their incredible form peaked on April 5, when a 4-1 win over Al-Khaleej set a new world record of 32 consecutive match wins across all competitions, surpassing Belfast Celtic's 75-year-old record. This phenomenal streak reached 34 games before finally ending with a 4-2 loss to Al Ain in the AFC Champions League semi-final on April 17. Although the world record was later broken by Turkmen club Arkadag, Al-Hilal finished the season remarkably by completing the league campaign unbeaten on May 27, 2024.
