Jessica Pegula (born February 24, 1994, in Buffalo, New York) is a top-ranked American tennis star, reaching career-highs of World No. 3 in singles and World No. 1 in doubles (2022-2023). The daughter of billionaire sports owners Terry and Kim Pegula, she has won 11 WTA singles titles (including four WTA 1000 events) and was a runner-up at the 2024 US Open and 2023 WTA Finals. In Grand Slam doubles, she finished as runner-up at the 2022 French Open (with Coco Gauff) and the 2023 US Open (with Austin Krajicek), while making three major singles semifinals. She also led Team USA to victory in the inaugural 2023 United Cup and the 2025 Billie Jean King Cup final. Beginning her journey at age seven, Pegula debuted at the 2015 US Open and clinched her first WTA title at the 2019 Washington Open, cementing her rise to the sport's elite.
