Anthony Gregory Vitello (born October 9, 1978) is an American professional baseball manager who currently leads the San Francisco Giants of Major League Baseball (MLB). He achieved significant national prominence as the head coach for the Tennessee Volunteers, guiding them to five NCAA regionals and three College World Series appearances from 2019 to 2024. Vitello's tenure culminated in 2024 when he led Tennessee to their first-ever College World Series National Championship, defeating Texas A&M in a historic victory. In 2025, he made a groundbreaking move to the professional ranks, becoming the first college manager to immediately take on an MLB manager role with the Giants.
