Wilfried Nancy (born 9 April 1977 in Le Havre, France) is a French football manager and former defender who most recently had a brief, unsuccessful tenure at Scottish club Celtic. After a playing career that took him from Toulon to various amateur French clubs and eventually Canada in 2005, he transitioned into coaching, joining the Montreal Impact Academy at its inception in 2011 and rising through the ranks. He became head coach of CF Montréal in 2021 following Thierry Henry's resignation, setting franchise records with 20 wins and 65 points in the 2022 MLS season, though he narrowly missed out on the Coach of the Year award. Moving to Columbus Crew in December 2022, Nancy achieved his greatest success by winning the MLS Cup in 2023 and earning the MLS Coach of the Year award in 2024 while also capturing the Leagues Cup and finishing as runner-up in the CONCACAF Champions Cup. He joined Celtic in December 2025, but was sacked just a month later after losing six of his eight matches in charge, ending his stint in Glasgow abruptly.
