Transgender Trend is a British anti-trans pressure group, founded in 2015 by Stephanie Davies-Arai, which states its concern about the number of children diagnosed with gender dysphoria. The group claims there is no evidence children are "truly trans" and that "gender ideology" harms young people, suggesting that transitioning for those under 25 is "the next big scandal" and warning of "grooming." They notably testified against the use of puberty blockers in the Bell v Tavistock court case, arguing children lack the maturity for informed consent to such medical interventions. Transgender Trend also distributed "school resource packs" advising against affirming transgender students and promoting "rapid-onset gender dysphoria," a contested concept not recognized by major medical associations and originating from anti-trans sources. The group and its founder, who also advises the international anti-trans organization Genspect, have faced criticism for their stances, which have been described as "almost identical to religious fundamentalists" and for disseminating "factually inaccurate content."
