Brandon Nakashima (born August 3, 2001) is an American professional tennis player who has climbed to a career-high ATP singles ranking of world No. 22 (achieved in August 2026) and is currently the No. 4 American. After a standout junior career that included winning the 2018 ITF Junior Masters, he briefly attended the University of Virginia before turning professional in 2019. His breakthrough came in 2021 when he reached back-to-back ATP finals in Los Cabos and Atlanta, cracking the top 100 just before his 20th birthday. In 2022, he made his first major fourth-round appearance at Wimbledon (losing a tight five-setter to Nick Kyrgios) and captured his first ATP title at the San Diego Open, followed by winning the 2022 Next Gen Finals.
