Golf La Moraleja, established in 1973, is celebrated as one of Spain's most important golf clubs and the largest in Europe located within a metropolitan area due to its extensive number of holes. It features an impressive four 18-hole, par 72 golf courses, all expertly designed by Jack Nicklaus or Nicklaus Design, alongside a 9-hole short course, tennis and paddle courts, swimming pools, a gym, and a spa, serving 6,000 shareholder members.
The club has hosted prestigious competitions, including the World Cup of Golf and the Spanish Open. Notably, it was voted the best golf course in Spain in 2013, and its La Moraleja 3 course was ranked the second best by Golf Digest in 2014. These renowned courses, situated across the La Moraleja residential estate and the municipality of Algete, offer diverse challenges, from the technical Course 1 (opened 1976) to the strategic, long parkland design of Course 3.
