Alexandra Eala (born May 23, 2005) is a Filipino tennis prodigy who shattered barriers by reaching a career-high world No. 20 ranking on August 3, 2026—the highest ever achieved by a Filipino in WTA history. She became the first Filipino to break into the top 20, defeat top-10 opponents, reach a major's fourth round, and win a WTA Tour title, which she clinched at the 2026 Washington Open. Her junior career was equally trailblazing; she climbed to world No. 2 in 2020 and became the first Filipino to win a junior major by claiming the 2022 US Open girls' singles title. Growing up in Quezon City, she started playing at age four with her grandfather and later trained at the Rafa Nadal Academy in Spain. After turning professional in 2020, she won her first ITF title in January 2021 and made her WTA debut that year, setting the stage for her historic breakthrough.
