Dane Myers (born March 8, 1996) is an American professional baseball player who currently plays for the Cincinnati Reds, having previously played for the Miami Marlins. A standout two-way player at Rice University, he was drafted by the Detroit Tigers as a pitcher in 2017, but after struggling on the mound, he was successfully converted into a hitter. His breakout came in 2022 when he recorded a 20-20 season (25 home runs and 21 stolen bases) in the minors, leading to his selection by the Marlins in the Rule 5 draft that December and his MLB debut on July 3, 2023. During his time in Miami, he faced notable injuries, including a fractured ankle from kicking a clubhouse door in 2024 and a knee laceration from a wall collision in 2025. After playing 106 games for the Marlins in 2025, he was traded to the Cincinnati Reds on December 27, 2025, in exchange for Ethan O'Donnell.
