Kaley Cuoco (born November 30, 1985, in Camarillo, California) is an American actress who rose to fame as Bridget Hennessy on the sitcom 8 Simple Rules (2002–2005) before achieving global stardom as Penny on the hit CBS series The Big Bang Theory (2007–2019). She later earned Primetime Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for her leading role in the HBO Max thriller The Flight Attendant (2020–2022) and has voiced the title character in the animated series Harley Quinn since 2019. Interestingly, Cuoco was a ranked amateur tennis player from age three until she quit at 16 to pursue acting, and her younger sister Briana has also appeared in her projects. Her film work includes Hop (2011), The Wedding Ringer (2015), and Role Play (2024), and she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2014. In 2017, she founded her own production company, Yes, Norman Productions, and continues to star in series like Based on a True Story (2023).
