Dazmon Cameron (born January 15, 1997) is an American professional baseball outfielder currently with the Toronto Blue Jays, and the son of former All-Star outfielder Mike Cameron. A standout at Eagle's Landing Christian Academy in Georgia, he was named the state's Gatorade Player of the Year in 2015 before being drafted 37th overall by the Houston Astros, who signed him for a $4 million bonus. In 2017, he was traded to the Detroit Tigers as part of the blockbuster deal for Justin Verlander, and he made his MLB debut with Detroit in 2020. After playing for the Tigers through 2022, he went on to play for the Oakland Athletics (2024), the Milwaukee Brewers, and the Doosan Bears of the KBO League before joining the Blue Jays. Known for his blend of power and speed, he showcased his potential in the minors with 14 home runs and 32 stolen bases in 2017. Now in the majors, Cameron continues to carve out his own legacy while following in his father's footsteps.
