Kyle Thomas Busch (May 2, 1985 – May 21, 2026), nicknamed "Rowdy", was a legendary American stock car driver who competed from 2001 until his death, most famously driving the No. 18 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing from 2008 to 2022. Born in Las Vegas, he began racing at age six and made his NASCAR debut at just 16 in 2001, later winning over 65 legends races as a teenager. Busch achieved remarkable success, capturing three major national championships (the 2009 Nationwide Series and the 2015 and 2019 Cup Series), winning four crown jewel events, and ranking first in overall wins across NASCAR's top three divisions at the time of his death. Beyond driving, he owned Kyle Busch Motorsports, which competed in the Truck Series from 2010 to 2023, and he was the younger brother of 2004 Cup champion Kurt Busch. Known for his aggressive driving style, he moved to Richard Childress Racing in 2023 and remained a dominant force until his passing in 2026.
