Jack Grealish (born 10 September 1995) is an English professional footballer renowned for his dribbling and playmaking, playing as a left winger or attacking midfielder for Manchester City, though he was loaned to Everton in 2025. He joined Aston Villa at age six, made his debut in 2014, and became club captain in 2019, before a record-breaking £100 million transfer to Manchester City in 2021—making him the most expensive British player at the time. At City, he won a Premier League title in his first season and a continental treble in his second, but later fell out of favour, leading to his loan move. Internationally, Grealish, who has deep Irish ancestry, played for the Republic of Ireland at youth level before switching to England in 2016, winning the Toulon Tournament and representing his country at Euro 2020 and the 2022 World Cup. Off the pitch, he grew up in Solihull, played Gaelic football as a child, and tragically lost his younger brother to sudden infant death syndrome.
