Jonathan Hernández (born July 6, 1996) is a Dominican-American professional baseball pitcher currently with the Los Angeles Dodgers, having previously played in MLB for the Texas Rangers and Seattle Mariners. He signed with the Rangers as an international free agent in 2013 and made his MLB debut on August 21, 2019, earning a win against the Angels with 2⅓ scoreless innings. After a strong 2020 season (5-1, 2.90 ERA), he underwent Tommy John surgery in April 2021, missing the entire year. He returned in 2022, recording his first career save, but struggled with the Rangers in 2023 and 2024, leading to his designation for assignment in July 2024. After a brief, difficult stint with the Mariners, he signed minor league deals with the Tampa Bay Rays (2025) and Philadelphia Phillies (December 2025), continuing his career in the minors before joining the Dodgers.
