Nolan Arenado is a premier MLB third baseman for the Arizona Diamondbacks, widely regarded as one of the greatest defensive players at his position in baseball history. A native of Newport Beach, California, he was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in 2009, made his debut in 2013, was traded to the St. Louis Cardinals in 2021, and joined the Diamondbacks in January 2026. Offensively, he is a five-time Silver Slugger winner, has twice led the league in home runs and RBIs, and has led all major leaguers in RBIs since 2015. His defensive accolades are unmatched—he is the only infielder to win the Gold Glove in each of his first ten seasons—and he has also hit for the cycle twice, including a walk-off home run, and became the first third baseman to drive in 130+ runs in three straight seasons. On the international stage, he helped Team USA win the 2017 World Baseball Classic gold medal, earned a silver in 2023, and will represent Puerto Rico in the 2026 tournament.
