Sonny Gray is a veteran Major League Baseball pitcher currently playing for the Boston Red Sox, having previously starred for the Athletics, Yankees, Reds, Twins, and Cardinals. Born in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1989, he overcame the tragic loss of his father during high school to excel as both a quarterback and baseball player, even leading his football team to back-to-back state titles.
