Lucas Copado
Lucas Copado (born 10 January 2004) is a German professional footballer who plays as a centre-forward for Energie Cottbus in the 2. Bundesliga. A product of the Bayern Munich youth academy, he made his senior Bundesliga debut in January 2022 under coach Julian Nagelsmann, stepping in during a COVID-19 outbreak that sidelined many regulars. After leaving Bayern, his career took him to Austrian club LASK in 2024, then to SC Paderborn in 2025, before he permanently returned to Energie Cottbus in July 2026. He has represented Germany at various youth levels from U15 to U18. Off the pitch, Copado comes from a notable footballing family: he is the son of former pro Francisco Copado, the nephew of ex-Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidžić, and the grandson of Unterhaching patron Anton Schrobenhauser.
