Max Brosmer
Thomas Maxwell Brosmer (born March 28, 2001) is an American football quarterback who signed with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent in April 2025 after a standout college career at New Hampshire and Minnesota. In college, he led the FCS in passing yards (3,464) as a senior before transferring to Minnesota. He made the Vikings' 53-man roster in August 2025 and debuted in September, becoming the first New Hampshire quarterback to take an NFL snap and the first Minnesota Golden Gopher quarterback to play in the NFL since 2002. His first start on November 30 against the Seattle Seahawks was rough, as he threw four interceptions in a 26-0 loss. However, in his second start against the Detroit Lions, he made history as the only quarterback in the Super Bowl era to win a game while throwing for fewer than 70 yards and being sacked seven or more times. He finished the season by relieving starter J. J. McCarthy in a win over the Green Bay Packers, showcasing his resilience as a backup.
