Stephen Francis Smith (born 22 July 1985) was a distinguished English professional boxer who competed from 2008 to 2019, gaining early fame as an amateur by winning gold at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. During his professional career, he captured multiple regional titles, including the British and Commonwealth featherweight championships, and became British super-featherweight champion in 2013 with a knockout victory over Gary Buckland. His career was marked by a notable promotional dispute when he broke his contract with Frank Warren to join Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Boxing in 2013, which led to a temporary suspension by the British Boxing Board of Control.
