Kwity Paye (born 19 November 1998) is a Liberian-born professional American football defensive end for the Las Vegas Raiders. His remarkable story began in a refugee camp in Guinea, where he was born to a mother fleeing the First Liberian Civil War; he immigrated to the United States as a six-month-old and grew up in Providence, Rhode Island. After starring at Bishop Hendricken High School and being named Rhode Island's Gatorade Football Player of the Year, he played college football at the University of Michigan. The Indianapolis Colts selected him in the first round (21st overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft, where he earned PFWA All-Rookie Team honors and recorded 8.5 sacks in 2023. In March 2026, Paye signed a three-year, $48 million contract with the Las Vegas Raiders, solidifying his status as a key defensive force in the NFL.
