Tommy DeVito (born August 7, 1998) is an American football quarterback who currently plays for the New England Patriots. He played college football at Syracuse for five seasons—where he was a backup before becoming a starter—and finished his collegiate career at Illinois after entering the transfer portal in 2021. After going undrafted, DeVito signed with the New York Giants in 2023 and joined the Patriots in 2025. A standout at Don Bosco Preparatory High School in New Jersey, he won a state championship and was an Elite 11 finalist. During his Syracuse tenure, he led a notable double-overtime comeback win over North Carolina in 2018, threw for over 2,300 yards in 2019, and saw his 2020 season cut short by a leg injury.
