Andrew Ladd McConkey (born November 11, 2001) is a professional wide receiver for the Los Angeles Chargers, having played college football at the University of Georgia, where he won two national championships and received the 2023 Wuerffel Trophy. Selected 34th overall in the second round of the 2024 NFL draft, McConkey made an immediate impact in his rookie season, breaking Chargers franchise rookie records for both receptions and receiving yards with 82 catches, 1,149 yards, and seven touchdowns. His playoff performance that year was historic, as he set an NFL rookie record with 197 receiving yards in a single postseason game during the Wild Card Round. Due to his stellar debut, he was voted by his peers as the 100th best player in the league on the NFL Top 100 Players of 2025 list. He continued his solid production in the 2025 season, finishing with 66 receptions for 789 yards and six touchdowns.
