The 2025 Women's Rugby World Cup is set to be a landmark event, held in England from 22 August to 27 September 2025. This will be England's second time hosting the tournament, which has been officially rebranded as the "Women's Rugby World Cup" since October 2023, and marks its return to a traditional four-year cycle.

Significantly expanded, the championship will feature 16 teams, up from 12, promising a more inclusive and competitive field. The opening match is scheduled for the Stadium of Light, with the grand final taking place at the iconic Twickenham Stadium. Defending champions New Zealand will aim to retain their title after defeating England in the 2021 Rugby World Cup final. Notably, Brazil will make their debut, and all six teams from the Women's Six Nations Championship have qualified, a first since 2002.
